Have recently graduated from the University of Salford in BA (HONS) Journalism & Sociology.
In 2005/06 I completed a six month work experience placement at The Magazine, a glossy Manchester publication. I worked in all aspects of the business and gained a valuable insight into the production of a monthly publication.
At the same time I also worked for FunkyFish PR and acquired valuable knowledge of PR strategies, events organising, networking and the importance of maintaining contacts.
After graduating I spent a month on a voluntary placement at Manchester Confidential - a fast growing online media publication all about Manchester life. I was given rein to produce various copy for competitions and offers as well as feature articles and general prep for future story schedule
